2 meet-ups = loads of good food.
met up Manda and Gen, together with Laura for dinner at Crystal Jade the other day.
I can never ever get enough of their porridge!
Good food, good company but horrid neighbours we had at the next table.
i hate people who have no concept of hygiene whatsoever. or maybe in this case, common sense. i mean like: hello woman, who in the world changes their kid's diapers in the restaurant, AT THE TABLE?
sheesh.
moving on to the next meet-up.. with Habez, Kelvin, Leonard, Eoin together with Cindy! (in the middle of mid-term exam week!)
 chilled at our usual starbucks, with our Caramel Macchiato-s, waiting for the later people to stream in..
Dinner was at Manhattan Fish Market - loved the prompt service and the grilled fish!
and then went on to Coffee Club for sweets! it was mainly army talk the whole way through - 2 proud boys who just POP-ed, 1 heading in 2 days later and the other in Oct. I found it extremely amusing, being able to compare their experiences with those of cm's..and to see how much they've changed after NS
i love all things citrus-y (on-going phase), so i got the lemon tart! it came with edible gold! loved the crust, it wasnt too dry and hard. quite like the tangy custard too.
all girls love their desserts! Habez left earlier on, but we still included him in all our pics!      note to self: meet-up with shing
anyhow, mid terms were crap. MCQ paper, so what. and for Retail we just had to answer 3 questions out of 4? bleah. i've never been much of a mugger and going back to the books just makes it so much more clear.
i screwed up an assignment too. double yayness.
if this isnt a sign to buck up and work harder for the projects, i dunno what is. there's still the final exams! @#%&&*& sighs.
