okay. so i lied. no pictures next entry. lol. been too busy getting fat with all the cakes and chocolates that my colleagues have been sharing with me. they're the nicest people ever! (and that's not because they share their calories..) cakes loaded with fresh whipped cream...  or topped with fat-laden icing! royce chocolates.. HERSHEY'S KISSES.. yummy bits from Canelé Pâtisserie...plus the christmas dinner with mom. the family gathering on christmas day... i can so hear the scales go tick tick tick tick tick... boo. Hope everyone had a great christmas. that the peeps doing ipp like me managed to get a good break from work! TGIF! So with Christmas done.. it's the new year coming soon, time for the yearly resolution making.. but this year seems more..i don't really know how to put it. not as straight forward as the past three years i guess... Cos ta-daa. Once again, it's decision making time. and it aint fun standing at the cross roads, being forced to make decisions. esp when there's quite a bit of money at stake. So which path to take? To work or to school. To school where? Where's the money gonna come from? Are you sure this course is what you wanna do? Where can you go with this? How long will you take before you can pay off your study loan? Are you sure you wanna go for an overseas education? questions and decisions!! arrgh!! so first things first. future career path? what do i wanna do.. there's no way i'm gonna be a lawyer if i go take up some engineering course... right? but i'm so muddled up right now. so yea. last time i wanted to work so badly in the magazine industry. then i wanted to try out in an agency.. see what the suits get up to.. then now i'm in marketing and i'm so loving it. hmm.. browsing around on the university websites going through all the courses they offer just seems to make everything more mind-boggling. management and marketing? marketing and advertising? hmmmm.. $45,000 for 6 semesters? hmmmmmmmmmm..... i'm getting a headache already. and it's jan soon!! |
