the last few months/days of 2008, were spent well..
(besides the satisfaction i get out of work..)
got the chance to catch up with friends...
CM and i celebrated our fourth...
decided that a change of location for dinner was much needed.. so goodbye pearl river and hello...
lovely.
spent the weeks of december doing loads of christmas/dress shopping.. bought gifts.. received some...
and of course.. shing's birthday dinner before she left for chiang rai amongst all the chaos in bkk then.. all in all. 2008 was a great year.
i earned myself my driving license. and learnt of the privileges that driving brings...
being able to hang out till late.. going to katong for a midnight snack (at 2am!)..... and the bliss of being able to have the car to myself for a few days.. being able to reach home from work within 45mins.. sheer bliss.
i've also learnt life lessons, both painful and sweet that i know i will remember for the years to come.
finally- finished up with lessons in school.. and headed out for internship in a great company that i never ever dreamt that i would be part of. getting the chance to meet great colleagues and being able to learn so much about the different media platforms through them..
2008 has given me lots of new opportunities.. and i'm hoping that 2009 will go as well!
be it job opportunities, university decisions.. money matters..
all in all. 2008 was a great year.
