so i'm in school. sitting at my usual seat in tep area. reading all the many many blog entries about tep. and am feeling all emotional again. but before my emotional entry i shall rant about how much i love mooncakes!!  followed by my super late HK entryand then maybe an emotional entry to mark the start (official start) of IPP! okay. so back to why i love mooncakes. cause they're sweet savory. and just really yummy. and pretty. and come in nice boxes and packaging! (Sheraton's doing good this year!)  and of course, Raffles Hotel as usual! Tried their baked ones this year. delish! double yolk and sweet lotus paste.....and of course my all-time favourite..   me love these champagne truffle & ganache ones from raffles hotel! a must have every year! and also the custard one from The Peninsula! Went to HK to get them from their hotel boutique but they were out of stock!!! thank god Singapore still has some for me. heh.so at the end of each mooncake season i pile on like another 300kilos. which is totally cool with me this year cause judging by the food conditions at my new place, i can soo afford those extra 300 kilos. so that's all. bottom line. i love my mooncakes.
