working on vday was super fun! watching all the girls walking around with bouquets of roses.. or holding hands/linking arms with their boyfriends or husbands. laughing at those who hold roses in their hands but are out shopping alone, and mentally rating all the diffrent kind of bouquets. the final verdict: lillies look the prettiest in bouquets and roses look best with at least 6 stalks. bouquets with the bears and roses mixed, look a lil stupid for orchard road but i think would go down perfectly well with the students couples that flood jurong point everyday. but anyhow. today is a grrreat day cuz i finally hit my sales target! it's been so long baby! woots! and it feels so damn good. hurhur! shing came by to the counter today and i think she's my lucky charm caused i closed about $200 in sales when she was around. went around frangrance shopping for a very short while and i bought her a heart-shaped lolly for vday!! p.s. dun feel guilty la, i still love you as much! =D went for lunch alone though so i went to mos burger. i really didn have the intentions of listening to the conversations that went around me but they were so interesting it was just hard not to listen. oh. and i people watched a lot today too.. there was this nerdy looking guy sitting in the corner, munching on fries and scribbling away... it was only when he started licking the envelope did i then realise that he was writing a vday card. and it's one of those ginormous ones. and he was licking the seal on the envelope. like really licking it. from the right to the top, left to the top and then a final lick on the top before sealing it. it was really disgusting. but i dunno wads more disgusting. the girl receiving the saliva-stained card or her being in the guy's mind while he was licking the card. hmmm.... behind me there was this couple, i dont really know how they look like but the convo went like this...The girl sounded really annoying and whiny and if not for their interesting convo i would have turned around to shoot her my please-shut-up look. Girl: Babbbby......it's our first valentine's day together.. arent you going to tell me something? Guy: huh? i already said i love you just now what. Girl: No la. not enough. say a bit more laaaaaa.... Guy: okok. (in a serious i'm-trying-to-act-cute-to-please-you voice) baby i love you so so much. i hope you liked my flowers, cause i chose them specially for you! Girl: That's a lot better. so you really love me right? Guy: Yaaaah... Girl: Good. then you shall feed me all the fries today, okay. Then i will believe that you truly love me. Guy: (Stunned voice) all the fries?? every single one? Girl: ya. if not i will take it as you dont love me. today our first valentine's day mah! must do memorable stuff! Guy: (i presume looking quite sian diao by now) okay okay. Girl: (demands) what about my ketchup?! LOL. Quite dumb i know but i found it really amusing. anyhow. tomorrow is friday and i can finally see cm! yeahness! =D i hoped all of you out there enjoyed your vday yeah? |
