so cm had friday free and we went for shopping and high tea at Royal Plaza! Heard loads of good comments about the high tea spread at Carousel so was expecting quite a bit.. errrm. in the end. it was okay la. just that the bread pudding was not as faab as i expected it to be. the cakes selection was just alright and the food, just an average pass i would say... but the ambience was great! with 'string curtains' and all. quite nice!  and they had really nice service. always ready to refill your coffee / tea.  i pretty much spent my time there drinking tea and iced water. boo! cm caught polishing off the cakes! super cute. heh. shopping at tangs after tea. and we spent the whole evening there! it was packed to the max, prolly due to the sale on.loads of good deals and bargains. it's no wonder i'm going back tomorrow with Sinyee for tai tai shopping and tea!! =D Saturday was spent at home, watching rented VCDs again. This week it was 'The Day after Tomorrow"! i know i know! it's such an old movie(2004)!! but i kinda have this thing for natural disaster movies, don't ask me why cause i myself dun know. i thought the movie was pretty cool. all about the global warming effect. cm couldnt help but start to explain to his sister, with his very vast geography knowledge -.-" all he knew about the formation of hurricanes, tropical storms, currents, hails..etc..etc. it was very cute. BUT, i was pretty distracted by.. Jake Gyllenhaal!! he's super hot okay (in the movie that is)! i wouldnt mind spending my last few minutes with him. woots!! oh, and i spent my sunday at... the airshow.of all places right. so bloody darn hot. no aircon. the airshow. squeezing with the crazy crowd that amounted up to thousands. it was sheer madness and it deserves a whole entry on it own. till then! |
