the exams were long over, and we're already in the mids of cny! cny was a lil weird this year, i dunno why, but things felt quite different..almost foreign. oh well, went visiting this year, but not as much cuz i'm "supposed to still be mourning". so i cant bring oranges out... which caused a bit of an inconvenience cuz i had to explain my situation quite a few times. pictures up soon! and one more thing, mummy "fractured" her arm, the day before chu xi (eve of chinese new year) she slipped while going down a ramp and was wearing flats! i dunno how she did it but yeah, she scored herself a crack so huge it could be seen on her xray so super clearly and now has to carry her arm around in a sling. woots. a broken arm seems to be the best conversation starter ever. my mum got all the attention everywhere she went! haha. but she was sad though, cause she couldnt wear all the new clothes that she bought for the new year cause the bandages on her forearm were to thick! mummy's a super woman though, she insists on doing quite a few things even though she only has one functional arm. eg. driving. it's kinda scary sitting in her car, watching her drive with only one hand on the wheel. she going for a cast this wed, and will be in it for the next month! poor mummy! poor us! now we'll have to do everything ourselves! =X so i worked at lancome today. it was too sweet a deal to miss. 12/hr. woots! and then went shopping with mummy at vivo! vivo was empty, as compared to the crowd that thronged that place weeks back, or maybe days before cny. it was damn shiok, being able to shop around and not having to squeeze with anyone! my new love, this tulip skirt i saw in river island. it is to die for. oh, and i finally bought my pillow. it was on offer please. now i can get a proper night's sleep. i havent been sleeping well since the exams!! happy cny to all! =) |
