yeah! my monster-sized photo blog entry is finally here! muahahaha. The class chalet was on the 28 29 and 30th of march at Aloha Loyang. to be completely honest, i thought it was really boring. (Maybe i spent tooo much time in the kitchen) Anyway, now i know why most chalet units are haunted with their resident ghosts - they're there to help spice things up and make things more exciting. really. Loyang was too clean.. maybe next time we should go back to Aloha Changi, Fairy Point Chalet 3...hmm. i mean really, the people there were so bored, they were watching chinese drama serials on channel 8!  and of course there were the mahjong people. it was a pity that i didn manage to sit down to play, i knocked out after cooking lunch and dinner and ila didn wake me up even though she promised to do so after coming back from the mahjong rental store. boo. Second night of the chalet was my birthday dinner.  My family came down to celebrate for awhile, to cut and eat the cake.. which my dad ordered from his baker friend who designed it for me! yummy marble cheesecake with strawberry!  i swear amanda spoils me rotten. thanks cutecute for everything! Love me more ya! as you know i secretly do. =Dand also to gen and serene for the lovely clutch bag! i know this is totally random, but my mummy thinks that Matthew and Leonard look alike. i'm somehow starting to think so too. and i think that matthew has a secret crush on leonard. here's a picture of the super funny choir people. i heart you guys like crazy. and before i forget, thanks for the presents as well. =) Until i realised that the jacuzzi pools are infested with frogs at night!! okay, maybe not infested.. but i swear, there are at least 7 frogs swimming there, in the pool. kelvin would gladly attest to it no? =D i dunno why, but i found the frogs strangely amusing, and kept returning back to look at them swim. oh! and when i told the girls about the frogs in the pool and brought them to look at it.. i swear. the looks on their faces - priceless. haha. thank god i didn go swimming, the next day, after we came back from our morning walk? (was it then iffah or cycling?) we saw frog spawn in the pool!!! haha! they're green-ish and come in long long strands. we saw ALOT hanging around in the water..PLUS! we saw these two frogs humping by the side too..uber cool eh? like maciam watching Animal Planet live or something.. i dunno why but thinking about those frogs makes me super happy. i think i'm sick.  My darling came to meet me at White Sands on the 30th, after we checked out from the chalet, to bring me and all my barang barang over to vivo for lunch at Carnivore! Carnivore is this Brazilian restaurant and their Churrascaria Lunch Buffet is just crazy. if you're not a meat lover, no point going really. all they serve is grilled meat but the people there slice the food onto your plates straight off the kebabs in your face! i think their salad bar is their only saving grace! but then again, it's perfect for lazy people! a buffet which requires no walking...  Cm bought me flowers for my birthday and had them delivered over to the chalet on the 29th, the night of my birthday dinner. it was a really sweet gesture. thanks so much sweetheart!  Lunch was great, and so was the walk outside, and the movie!The 31st, was Cm's birthday! Brought him to Marina Square for Xiao longbaos!!  i think that chinese restaurant (i can't remember it's name), located beside Secret Recipe, serves the best xiao long bao ever. cm and i think that it's even better than those from crystal jade and ding tai fung! cheaper too..Also bought him a cake from Rive Gauche Patisserie@ takashimaya for his birthday - this caramel peanut creation which i thought was quite an interesting combo. But to be honest, i bought it plainly because i thought it looked the cutest of all the cakes sitting at the display window.  thank god the cake tasted so good. and that cm loved it. =DHappy 19th Birthday!! i hope you had fun despite the stupid quibbles we had that day. thinking back now, i feel really bad and stupid. i'm so sorry..  Moving on! had my belated birthday lunch with my buddies - Hsien, Fangyi, Timo, Cheryl, Ernest and new girlfriend QianHui on April the first! yes, it's my birthday. and i get to be queen. so let me be happy. Hsien organized lunch and we had it at the Mussel Guys @ vivo.. yes, i went back to vivo again.. well, i shan't comment much on the food, but they really provided very good service, the people working there are all very very nice. Hsien had really bad hearing that day, even though the restaurant was strangely quiet.. the waitress clearly said, 'here are your set soups' or something along that line, and she heard it as 'sex soup'. i swear, you either have loads of ear wax in your ears, or you're just simply deprived. lol. here's a picture of the infamous sex soup. and if i did recall correctly, i think cheryl heard it as sex soup too...did you did you?? if you did, then maybe it's the waitress's fault. Here's Cheryl and my good friend timmy. He's Mexican. i dunno why the people at the Mussel Guys gave me two balloons. somehow i think the people at my table put them up to it. bleah. the balloons make me look super stupid. you can always approach me for my banking details. anytime.=) |
i think i have the bunch of cutest friends ever. i mean, when singing the brithday song, you're supposed to stand around the person and not form up infront of the person in some choir-like formation and sing from there no?
