The wedding dinner was held at Rasa Sentosa Resort. i know it sounds really silly. but it was my very first time setting my foot into that hotel. i dunno why but it had a very indonesian/batam-ish feel. Maybe it's the hotel lobby.. okay. you know how silly it is sometimes when you have to attend wedding dinners of these people which you barely know? the bride is a some-what aunt of mine, and well. i've never met her before in my entire life until the day of her wedding. as she's the daughter of my grandma's (as pictured below) brother. But nevertheless, wedding dinners are just fun. before they walked down the aisle, the management was talking to the people seated at the tables by the aisle (which was occupied by my family) asking them to stand-by to shower confetti when the couple walks in. the whole concept is kinda cute.. and very sweet. but it just doesnt work when all they do on stage for the rest of the next 5minutes is brushing the confetti off their hair. Oh and the bits and pieces remain stuck their till their next outfit change, where they had another confetti session at the "yum-sheng" segment. sweet.i'm never having confetti throwings at my wedding. maybe petals could work instead. hmm.  My mom and sister. i think my mom looks seriously hot for her age. I wouldn't mind growing old, knowing that i would look somewhat like her. heh. People are forever commenting on how we look alike and for once, i don't mind, as it's really a compliment! My sister. after i told her i think she looks like 'Emily The Strange' she kept giving me these Emily looks. so irritating. bah. can't even get a proper picture. This is my darling cousin. we grew up playing together at my grandma's place where we had dinner during the weekends. we used to sing together and quibble over the silliest of matters. We still do so now. The quibbling that is. *Ps, i enjoyed shopping with you that day forgel. it was fun. we should do it again someday soon. And this is what we both looked like about, say. 13 years ago? Much cuter, yes i know.
