had a scare for nothing. my course offer form states that my last date of enrolment is 5th april!! phew!! anyway, shall blog about batam. so yeah i went over last weekend. left on sat afternoon and came back to sg on sun around eight-ish. my actual purpose of going over was actually just purely for the two spa sessions, but well. the resort we stayed at turned out to be quite lovely!! turi beach resort. here are some pictures! the beach.. the pool My bed!!!! view from the pool... yeah. when we arrived we went straight to Mustika ratu which is a spa owned by my mum's boss in batam. so yeah. had a 2hr30 min session. it was quite nice. i love the massages, did a seasalt body mask too! after spa, went for dinner at this seafood place then we went back to the resort and went for karoke! drank like 5cocktails. got a little high. heh. had vodka shots with coke too. downed like 3.. the bill was picked up by my mum's batam boss on one condition that i sing with him as everyone else didn dare to. so ya, for the drinks i sang songs like "let it be" "desperado" super old oldies!! and that u look wonderful tonight song. lolx. he's a great singer. it was fun. i love oldies! oh ya. the resort's karoke system in the pub sucks. the latest song they have is "shake your bon bon " and "viva forever" ricky martin and spice girls. lolx..so 1997. the next day went to watch them do sea sports..got sunburnt by staying in the shade and then for for another 2hr30min spa session at the spa in the resort! i swear it's fucking-fantastic!!! the massage. man. it's the best ever ever!! urut massage or something. can't remember what it's called but the massage movements are like flowing waves. super relaxing!! after that had dinner and came back to singapore. yeah. so that was my weekend in batam.. our birthdays this week but we don't have the chance to spend either of it together. it's freaking sad. with all his rehearsals, my work and the poly stuff to keep me busy...i had all this weird tension building up inside me which i assumed was pure stress.. but i just realised what that feeling is... it's loneliness. and this feeling sucks.
